Paid for shrimp but got chicken cheatingAnd food smells Smell “pad see ewe” before eating

The peanut satay sauce was watery. The ground chicken larb was very salty. The Basil roll was mostly lettuce and noodles. The fried banana and ice cream were average. Overall, a very disappointing meal. Will never order from them again.

Quiet little restaurant. Food is good. Prices are a little on the high side but not too bad.

Delicious food! The photos show the Yellow Curry, which has a slow build of spiciness, not too bad of a kick, and absolutely delicious! Everyone I came with wanted more. Thank you to the waitress for accommodating my cousin, who is vegan. Very thoughtful staff :)

5 months agoIt was my first time there and I disliked the food! Waited and never received refills on our drinks!Was not impressed by atmosphere nor the food! I have enjoyed many Thai restaurants ,but this one had the worst food of any I had been to. I don't plan on going back!

Wonderfully delicious AUTHENTIC Thai food. We got dinner here on a whim while staying at Great Wolf Lodge. You can literally walk to the place (it’s about a block away by the Harley-Davidson store).Some of the best Thai food we’ve ever had! We even saved the fried rice for day two because the flavor was so amazing. Waaaay better than a typical Chinese joint!We were very pleasantly surprised by this place. If you like Asian food and/or spicy food (you can get a range of spice), definitely give it a try.Prices were on par with any other restaurant in the area.

Great little place, it was kinda empty but server was very nice and friendly, she recommended some dishes, and was very welcoming... the food was delicious, we got some curry and the pad thai, everything was very good tasting and clean and fresh.. dying to go back on our next NC visit.!!

The staff at Mai Thai II are super nice and quite quick. The atmosphere is definitely local and chill. Great place to have a conversation while eating. The Spicy Basil Noodles with Shrimp was delicious and the correct amount of spicy. The only thing that is keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that the bathrooms were a bit on the dirty side.

One of the best Thai food places I’ve ever had. They had many unique dishes that I was excited to see and try. I got the pineapple fried rice and was surprised to find out that it was served right in a pineapple. The food was appealing to look at and tasted great. I would definitely go back to try more of their food.

really bad, i ordered the pad thai with chicken, it was dry and the togo box smelled like a fart, not even kidding. There were obvious egg shells in every other bite. I threw it up. never coming back, waste if money

Ordered while staying at the great wolf lodge, I was very clear I don’t eat heavy spicy food but she assured me the item being ordered was slightly spicy which I’m ok with, well it was burning lips not mouth spicy, I had my husband try to to confirm in case I was being sensitive but he confirm it was even spicier than his meal (he likes spicy food). The peanut sauce was indeed watery. The white rice hard and tasteless.

Small portions, bad service and I greeted by a roach on the floor prior to ordering appetizers. Run away!

We arrived at this place for lunch. my friend recommended this place. Well, it was a winning. the crew were so friendly and we had a great feeling. The meal was great. We enjoyed every moment and we shall absolutely come back again. Highly recommended.

So many choices! Staff is wonderful. Choice of heat. 3 was perfect for my first time but I can take it to 4. Ate the cashew style.

I must have different taste buds than the other people commenting. The pad see ew tastes funky. It tastes lemony to me which it definitely shouldn't. Would've left 3 stars but the dish is $14 which seems pretty steep but maybe if I liked it more it would be reasonable. The staff is very nice.

Terrible service! I called in my order at 8pm today and the lady who took my order seemed rushed and didn’t even ask me for my name. I arrived at the restaurant at 8:30pm to pick up my order and the lady who greeted me said that they were now closed and that I did not place an order. I had to pull out my phone to prove to the lady that I called at 8pm since I don’t like being accused of not doing something I did in fact do. After I showed her the call she just gave a fake apology and said the kitchen is closed now. Mistakes happen but I would have appreciated some type of compensation for the inconvenience and not being made to feel like I was lying. Why would I even lie about that?! My bf has been going to this restaurant for years but after this experience we’ve both agreed to never go back.

First time here and had a great experience. I got the Bangkok Chicken and it was delicious. Service was fast and friendly.

The Thai tea was sour. The calamari was chewy and undercooked. The food was over priced.

I love this place. The waitress is awesome. She recognizes us when we come in and is always super friendly. Even knows our usual drink order. Their food is also amazing. Their Pad Thai is full of amazing flavor. You can pick how spicy you want it which is kind of nice. The serving is huge! I always end up taking half home. I definitely recommend this place!!

Ordered for first time thru door dash. They give you an AMAZING amount of food for the price. Got the Pad Thai since it should be a popular dish and a staple of most thai american restaurants. Sad to say it did not taste as good as it looked. It was definitely missing some flavors as all I could taste was the tartness of tamarind in the noodles. Had to add in some fish sauce to doctor it up. Pic below is of the pad thai after I had mixed it up. The presentation was prettier before I doctored it up and mixed it.

We have been here dozens of times over the years but have never been a poster until now. Main Thai II is a small restaurant in a little strip mall but delivers HUGE flavors. Dont let the outside fool you. The fried dumplings with their sauce are fantastic. We save the remaining sauce to use later! Their pad thai has a great flavor, good portion size and depending on your heat tolerance, they can accommodate. 3 will bring a little sweat to your brow. The red curry is awesome. I would drink it out of a cup like tomato soup if I could. So much flavor and it leaves that coating in your mouth you crave from a curry sauce. If you are not too stuffed and lucky if it's in season, the mango sticky rice is the perfect end to your meal. Every time we finish, our comment is always "why dont we come here more often?" We have tried several other dishes and have enjoyed all of them, this just happened to be tonight's meal. Enjoy.

It's rare to find good diverse food in smaller towns but Mai Thai is truly a hidden gem of Concord. Great food, great portions, fair prices. Very authentic, would highly recommend pineapple fried rice or pad thai.

Awesome place. Great food taste. Wonderful helping staff. Papaya salad and wings were what I tried and it was great. The place was full of folks and is busy. Parking is available in plenty. It’s just off the main road but not very far. Overall a good place to go to for food.

Cozy place, usually not busy. Good meals. They will customize your spice level if you don't like the heat of Thai food.

Don’t know if it was some kind of off day because it was a Monday and we were the ONLY customers there but the service sucked. Waitress was on her cellphone the entire time, took forever to get a refill on water and had to go find her to ask for the check. The red curry tasted like watered down spicy coconut water. And for the steep prices I was hoping for better, I am all for paying money on good food but this was a total waste of money! I am a avid Thai food/red curry lover and have been to a ton of Thai restaurants. This was the worst red curry I’ve ever tasted. The pad see ew tasted fine but was about it. Bad first impression, probably won’t be coming back.

BEST Pad Thai hands down. I've had Pad Thai at a lot of places and this really is the best! From the perfect amount of seasoning to the right width and length of noodle, they've got it right. I'll definitely be back. The restaurant itself isn't fancy, but it's clean and an enjoyable place.

A good Thai restaurant with a convenient location. I recommend the pineapple fried rice (which is served in a half pineapple) and the yellow curry. Both are very tasty. The prices are a little high, but the service was very good.
